Gerade habe ich den offiziellen MS-Code "Detecting Internet Explorer in SP2" gefunden:

übrigens ganz schön überheblich:
"If the user agent string contains "SV1", the browser connecting to your site is Internet Explorer in SP2." nebst JS-Beispiel.
