Ist im Kernel eigentlich High Memory Support aktiviert?
Oh, klasse, "there is no help available for this kernel option". Na gut. Man hat die Auswahl zwischen "off", "4GB" und "64GB" (Kernel 2.6.18). "man swapon" bringt nicht allzuviel Info.
