mod_gzip.id im server root verzeichnis?

Hallo zusammen,

Tach!

seit letzter Nacht befindet sich in meinem Server Root Verzeichnis neben htdocs, cgi-bin etc. die Datei: mod-gzip.id
Frage: was macht die da und vor allem, wie kommt sie dahin??

Mache ich mir jetzt Sorgen, oder lösche ich sie einfach?

Server: Apache/1.3.19 auf SuSe Linux 7.3

mod_gzip haben wir auch! Hab mal zu mod_gzip.id etwas gesucht...

Daraus ein Kurzer Auszug...

Forgot to mention that as long as you have a file in that TEMP dir
called mod_gzip.id which should always contain the actual mod_gzip
version number then mod_gzip has already determined that it is
able to read/write that TEMP dir using the Server's group ID..
