2 verschiedene Spalteninhalte gleich positionieren

Hallo,

ich hab folgendes Problem:
In einer Tabelle mit 2 Spallten steht jeweils ein mit css "fomatierter" Text, der im Browser nach möglichkeit in der selben Höhe dargestellt werden soll, also so:

tabelle:
spalte1          spalte 2

überschrift 1 | überschrift 2
              |
texttexttext  | texttexttext
texttexttext  | texttexttext
texttexttext  | texttexttext
texttexttext  | texttexttext
texttexttext  |

aber er wird leider immer so dargestellte

tabelle:
spalte1           spalte2

überschrift 1 |
              | überschrift 2
texttexttext  |
texttexttext  | texttexttext
texttexttext  | texttexttext
texttexttext  | texttexttext
texttexttext  | texttexttext

nachdem ich nun 2 Std versucht habe das Problem zu lösen (unteranderm auch mit einem Blingif), wende ich mich an euch...
