CSS innerhalb eines <layer><layer>

Hallo,
hab da ein prob mit <layer ...

und das alles NUR für den Netscape 4.x

sowie die tabelle INNERHALB des layers liegt,
wird class="menu" ignoriert ...

Wer weiss, wie ich das hinkriegen kann??
