GD Lib Update?
Hallo zusammen,
ich möchte Bilder in der Größe verändern und bekomme bei den
imagexy funktionen immer die meldung: requires GD 2.0 or later ...
Gut hab ich gedacht hab mir die rpm packages geholt (gd & gd-devel 2.0.11-30) mit yast -i installiert (auf SuSE).
Dann hab ich den apache neu gestartet. Er ist nicht auf anhieb raufgekommen weil er die libgd.so.4 nicht gefunden hat. Die hab ich im gelinkt auf die libgd.so.2.0.0. Dann ist er raufgekommen.
Jetzt hab ich aber immer noch das problem von wegen requires GD 2.0 or later...
Muss man das php neu kompilieren oder irgendein conf file ändern?
Um tipps wäre ich dankbar.

Du mußt PHP schon sein Glück mitteilen. Du wirst neu kompilieren müßen. Die ganzen Optionen stehe ja oben, also copy&past und die ' entfernen.

Hast Du schon mal mit ./configure, make und make install gearbeitet?

Suche mal auf der Maschine nach dem Verzeichnis, in dem der Source von PHP liegt. Das Verzeichnis sollte so "php-4.2.2" oder ähnlich lauten. Ansonsten lade Dir den Source neu runter.

Hmm, ich finde die Sourcen nicht auf meinem Server...
Kann ich das einfach so daneben auf dem server installieren oder gibts da probleme mit dem anderen php?

Soweit ich überblicke nein! Von 4.2.2 zu 4.3.4 haben sich glaube keine großen Dinge geändert.
Überfliege aber bitte trotzdem mal das ChangeLog. Schaue Dir mal Version 4.3 und 4.3.4 an.
http://www.php.net/ChangeLog-4.phpDa auch viele Bugs beseitigt wurden, solltest Du schon die neueste nehmen.
Hier gibt es noch eine 4.2.2 Version http://www.alltheweb.com/search?cat=ftp&ftype=6&query=php-4.2.2.tar.gz

Ja, Du kannst eine neue PHP-Version installieren. Die nudelst Du über die jetzige.

Achte bitte auf Errors beim kompilieren. Mit ./configure und make überinstallierst Du noch nichts. Erst mit make install.

Okay hab jetzt das iodbc noch rausgehaun ausm configure
und jetzt hat er compiliert. Hab auch make install gemacht und es läuft alles (zumindest hab ich noch nix gefunden was kracht) ;-)Danke vielmals Andrè!!

Okay bin grad am compilieren der 4.3.4 nachdem das configure 1000 Fehler gebracht hat...
Wie siehts nun aus. Wie ersetze ich das alte php durch das neue wenns fertig compiliert ist?
