MS Office auf XML-Basis ?

Hallo,

aber irgendwo stand mal, dass Microsoft (2001?) sein gesamtes Office-Paket umgearbeitet hat und auf XML-Standarts gebracht hat, dass heißt, meine MS-Word ".doc"-Datei stellt ein XML-Dokument dar.

Das ist Office 2003! (und nicht 2001)
