Link auf .exe Datei nicht direkt ausführen

Hallo Freunde des gehobenen Forumsgenusses,

Was du aber mit dem "curl" meinst, ist auch mir schleierhaft. Mir selbst sagt das nichts, ich vermute, es handelt sich um ein Linux-Tool.

Nein. Es handelt sich um eine Software:
" curl is a command line tool for transferring files with URL syntax, supporting FTP, FTPS, HTTP, HTTPS, GOPHER, TELNET, DICT, FILE and LDAP. Curl supports HTTPS certificates, HTTP POST, HTTP PUT, FTP uploading, HTTP form based upload, proxies, cookies, user+password authentication (Basic, Digest, NTLM, Negotiate, kerberos...), file transfer resume, proxy tunneling and a busload of other useful tricks."

Und ist es sinnvoll, einem IE-Benutzer sowas vorzuschlagen?  ;-)

Wenn er eine Lösung haben möchte schon, das Teil gibt es auch für Windoof (wie schreibt man das wieder?)
