Vielleicht darf ich noch mal an die urprüngliche Frage erinnern: "Warum macht Firefox eine Statuszeile in ein Javascript-Popup, wenn das Attribut "status" explizit auf "no" gesetzt ist.
weil der benutzer ihn so konfiguriert hat, dass er diese ihm (dem besucher) nicht genehme vorgehensweise doch bitte ignorieren möge.
