Hi Fabian,

Um welche Soundkarte handelt es sich denn genau bzw. welchen Treiber verwendest du? (siehe hierzu auch die Ausgabe von lspci | grep 'audio' und lsmod | grep 'snd')

Bei grep * gibt es bei mir keine Ausgabe, es erscheint nicht mal ein neues "mario@ubuntu:~$"

Als ersten Tipp an dich möchte ich dir daher raten, im »alsamixer« (ncurses Programm in der Konsole) mal zu versuchen, ob alle Regler auf »unmute« stehen. Die Beschriftungen sind eigentlich selbsterklärend.

Ich sehe folgendes:

Und nirgends steht "unmute" bzw. "mute".

Bei mir funktionierte danach mit einer Soundblaster Audigy 2ZS (emu10k1) der Surround-Sound.

Jaja, wenn das bei mir nur auch so wäre...
