Wie kann ich in einem UL-Element, die folgenden LI's zentrieren?
so wie jedes andere Block-Element auch, [...]
Bin ich gerade blind oder ist mein lokaler SelfHTML-Mirror schon wieder überholt?

Du suchst nur an der vollkommen falschen Stelle.
Es geht um Darstellung. Also um CSS. Und laut CSS sind auch Elemente mit display:list-item blocklevel-Elemente.
"Block-level elements are those elements of the source document that are formatted visually as blocks (e.g., paragraphs). Several values of the 'display' property make an element block-level: 'block', 'list-item', 'compact' and 'run-in' (part of the time; see compact and run-in boxes), and 'table'."

(ob und wenn ja wo das im SelfHTML steht, weiß ich nicht - so auf die Schnelle hab ich nichts gefunden)
