Die Preg_Match-Funktion wollte ich zb für Kontaktformulare nutzen.
Ungeachtet deines Vorhabens:
zb solche Standart dinger wie: enthält das Kontakt-Feld "Email" die Eingabe '@' und '.'.
Dies lässt sich alles ohne weiteres mit strpos und ggf. strrpos bewältigen.
