Hallo,
bei einer Scriptinstallation werde ich nach
Database Socket or Port:
gefragt und weiß nicht, was ich da angeben soll.
Ich habe zwar schon einige Scrpts installiert, doch diese Frage hat sich noch nie gestellt.
Auch mit der Beschreibung kann ich nichts anfangen, vielleicht weil meine Englisch-Stunden schon eine Weile vorbei sind...
Database Port or Socket - This should usually be left alone, but if your MySQL server requires a seperate port or socket, enter it here. This information is also supplied by your webhost upon registration. A good way to tell if you need one is if you receive an error similar to this when installing without it:
Warning: mysql_connect(): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2) in /path/to/install.php
