Das ist schn dass du das irgwendwo gelesen hast, ich lese jedenfalls auf php.net "$_REQUEST: An associative array consisting of the contents of"

Für deinen Zweck hilfreich wäre vllt. "$GLOBALS: An associative array containing references to all variables which are currently defined in the global scope of the script. The variable names are the keys of the array."
