Probleme mit Größe einer p-Box im IE

Hallo,
ich bin grad am verzweifeln, weil der IE eine absolut positionierte p-Box größer anzeigt, als ich die Abmessungen gegeben habe.
Dies ist die Box:

Im Firefox und Opera wird diese Box auch nur mit 10 X 10 Pixeln angezeigt. Im IE ist sie 10px breit und ca. 20 hoch.

Wißt ihr weshalb das so ist und wie man das verändern kann?
