also z.b. client a möchte von client b "cdimage.iso" runterladen... wie würde/müsste das ca. aussehen?

Google am Besten mal nach HTTP Tutorial o.ä., auf Anhieb finde ich z.B. http://www.jmarshall.com/easy/http/.
