div tags und Rahmen - Falsche border-color im IE

hi,

Ich bekomme beim border-style "ridge" im IE 6 nicht die richtige Farbe der "Lichtkante", z.B. bei #ffffff ein Grau statt Weiß.

Wenn du von "richtig" sprichst, beziehst du dich ja sicherlich auf etwas irgendwo fest definiertes. Teile uns bitte mit, was das ist, und wo nachzulesen.

Der Fx machts richtig.

Er macht vielleicht das, was du erwartest, oder dir wünschst.
Wie kommst du darauf, dass es deshalb "richtig" wäre?

Kennt das jemand?

Dort steht u.a.:
"The color of borders drawn for values of 'groove', 'ridge', 'inset', and 'outset' depends on the element's border color properties, but UAs may choose their own algorithm to calculate the actual colors used. For instance, if the 'border-color' has the value 'silver', then a UA could use a gradient of colors from white to dark gray to indicate a sloping border."
