Ja klar, sonst kann er ja gar nicht auf Validität (Gültigkeit) prüfen, sondern nur auf Wohlgeformtheit. [http://de.selfhtml.org/xml/regeln/begriffe.htm@title=SELFHTML, ZITAT134]

Dieser Validator ist gar nicht dafür da, Feeds zu prüfen: “This validator checks the markup validity  of Web documents in HTML, XHTML, SMIL, MathML, etc. If you wish to validate specific content such as RSS/Atom feeds or CSS stylesheets  or to find broken links, there are other validators and tools available.” [http://validator.w3.org/] (dort auch verlinkt)

und ein charset haben... charset hab ich doch aber über das encoding="" schon übermittelt eigentlich ?

Zum Medientypen 'text/xml' sagt die Warnung doch etwas. Warum lieferst du den Feed nicht mit 'application/xml' aus?
