Du solltest dich mit einer Template-Engine vertraut machen. Diese kann nämlich ohne Probleme die Ersetzungen durchführen, die du brauchst.
Ich benutze sehr gerne TinyButStrong.
Dein Weg ist einfach zu umständlich. ;-)
