formatiertes «input» bei NS und MS

Hi,

Mir ist aufgefallen, daß wenn man einen <input>-tag
mit CSS formatiert (entweder mit style="..." im tag, oder mit einem <span> bzw. <div> drumherum), das
Eingabefeld beim Nav. sehr viel größer wird, als beim
IE.

Wie könnte man dieses Problem umgehen?
