(E-MAIL) Mail-Formular

hi,
ich hab' hier ein simples mailto-formular, das im netscape x klappt, aber nicht im ie5.
das problem auch schonmal gehabt? woran könnte das liegen?

<FORM ACTION="mailto:[e-mail]" METHOD="post" ENCTYPE="text/plain">
Vor- und Nachname: <INPUT TYPE="text" SIZE=50 NAME="Absendername"><BR>

</FORM>

folgende fehlermeldung:

An error occured while sending mail
The mail server responded:
Invalid address syntax.
Please check the message recipients an try again
