Eigentlich sollte die Frage ja noch kommen (ich hatte den Link schon mal ins Textarea kopiert...).... Grmbl...

wie wäre es mit:
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">

Entities &#156; und &#140; sind scheinbar nicht konform

dann notiere sie in unicode:
&#x153; und &#x152;
