Wenn das bei dir so ist dann :

1. Remove the PC Card from the computer.
2. Use Registry Editor to export the following registry key:
         HKEY_Local_Machine\Enum\PCMCIA
3. Delete the following registry key:
         HKEY_Local_Machine\Enum\PCMCIA\LAN\Modem
      If there is no LAN\Modem key, delete the PCMCIA key.
4. Shut down Windows 98, and then turn off the computer.
5. Restart the computer.
6. After Windows 98 starts, insert the PC Card and allow Windows 98 to detect the card.

Hmm ... Punkt 6 sieht wirklich heikel aus. Aber ich werde das mal probieren.
