www.meineurl.de. punkt nach "de" möglich?!?

Hallo,

Habe festgelstellt dass es möglich ist nach de, .de noch einen Punkt zu schreiben und die seite wird trozdem aufgerufen. Warum ist das möglich, geht das nur bei meinem InternetExplorer?

Wie wäre es mit einer kleinen Lektüre?
