Mit PHP zippen ohne Verzeichnisstruktur?

Wie kann ich denn das verhindern. Ich möchte einfach die Dateien
aus sources/ in ein ZIP-File bringen, und zwar ohne dass sich das
ZIP irgendwelche Pfade merkt.

man zip:
  -j     Store just the name of a saved file (junk the path), and do  not
         store  directory names. By default, zip will store the full path
         (relative to the current path).
