Dann war garantiert in der Tabelle ein div/object/iframe/... denn Tabellenzellen können direkt weder externe Ressourcen noch Scrollbars haben.

warum eigentlich keine scrollbars?

Und ein replaced-Element sind Tabellenzellen auch nicht...
