Wie kann ich das Zeichen bei dem Input-Type = PW verändern?

Hi,
ich habe da auf folgende Website (https://sourceforge.net/account/verify.php?confirm_hash=_62529fce2bf68841) gesehen, dass im Input Type Password das Zeichen zum "Verstecken" der Zeichen kein Stern, sondern ein anderes ist.
Meine Browsereinstellungen sind normal und ich benutze den IE 5.5 auf Win Me *lach+ ;)

Ich denke es liegt am CSS, welches als PHP-File hinterlegt und so nicht direkt ansprechbar ist.

Weder im IE 5.5 noch im Mozilla 1.2.1 noch im Opera 6.05 noch im Ns 4.76 nachvollziehbar, es werden jeweils Sternchen verwendet.

Hi,
mein Problem ist, dass ich an das PHP-Css nicht herrankomme.
Ausserdem sind es definitiv KEINE Sternchen sondern Omega-Zeichen, da sie bei mir per Copy+Paste im HTML-Editor immer noch genau so aussehen.

Warum nicht? Url in die Adreßzeile kopieren und mit Return abschicken.

Aber was soll Dir das helfen? Es ist per CSS nicht möglich, das Zeichen zu ändern.

es ist immer noch ein stern, nur bei sans-serif sieht der eben
etwas anders aus als gewohnt.

kannst dir ja mal die css von denen ansehen,

Bei mir is auf der Seite nix verändert.
In Mozilla sin normale Sternchen und im IE die normalen Punkte die
der bei Windoof XP anzeigt.
Also bei mir sins die Standartzeichen.
Ansonsten wüsste ich auch nich wie man des verändern könnte.
