Ich lese das immer wieder. Doch das ist schlichtweg falsch. Farbige Scrollbalken funktionieren im standards compliant mode im Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 - man muss sie nur wirklich auf das Wurzelelement anwenden, also html und nicht body. Damit der IE 5 dann nicht meckert, bindet man body zusätzlich noch mit ein, so kommt man auf die Lösung, die Thomas Meinike gepostet hat.
