AOL-Mail-Server ist paranoid - Was kann man tun?
Hallo zusammen,
gestern Nacht hatte ich ne lustige Kommunikation mit AOL-Mail-Servern. Die sah folgendermaßen aus:

from xxxx.xxxxxx.de [213.7.xxxx.xxx]
(Anm.: die xe sind von mir - und da stand ein Mail-Server als Absender, mit dem ich normalerweise nix zu tun habe. Kann ja aber mal als Zwischenschritt passieren)

(Schreibfehler von mailin-02.mx.aol.com? Platte voll?)

(Probiert ers jetzt bei nem anderen AOL-Server? Oder unterhält sich mailin-01 mit mailin-02?)

(Röchel...mein Mailserver ist _nicht_ offen. Allerdings setzt ab und an ein Spammer meine Domain als frei erfundene Absenderadresse ein. Also: AOL anrufen, Sache erklären. Bloß: wo? Ist 703.265.4670 eine Tel.-Nr.? In den USA? Jetzt geht's aber weiter:)

Na gut, denk ich mir, AOL will seine User vor Spam schützen und hat die Sache einfach noch nicht im Griff - abwarten, denk ich mir. Da kommt eine weitere Mail zurück, die mich aber nun wirklich völlig verblüfft:

Beide Mails wurden gleichzeitig verschickt - für mich sieht das so aus als hätte da a) AOL seinen Spam-Filter definitiv nicht im Griff, und b) eine Mailtrennung nicht richtig funktioniert hat. Als Mail-Client verwende ich übrigens The Bat, keine Ahnung, was für ein Mail-Server bei meinem Provider (Strato) läuft.
Die Frage ist: kann man da was tun?
Am Rande: im gleichen Schwung Mails ging noch ne weitere an nen AOL-Account raus, die scheint durchgekommen zu sein. Prima Spam-Filter!
