das ist doch schon css - schreib es doch einfach in die externe Datei.

funzt bei mir nicht!

was 'funzt' nicht? Was hast du bereits probiert? Wo liegt jetzt eigentlich das Problem?

oder max. Tabellenbreite angeben!

max-width:700px; macht aber nicht jeder Browser (der IE ist meines Wissens zu blöd für max-width)
