Immer noch Warten auf Godot?

Phoenix ist u.U. deshalb langsamer weil bei Mozilla

hab nochmals nachgeschaut, Phonix 0.5 entspricht Mozilla 1.3, nicht 1.2.

Mozilla 1.3 ist also offenbar einfach 10 bis 20 Prozent langsamer geworden als 1.2.

Damit besteht denn wohl gar keine Hoffnung mehr dass ein zukünftiger Gecko jemals vernünftiges Tempo erreicht.

Das ist für mich glaubwürdiger als die üblichen Antworten auch im o.g. Forum der Geckofans, ob nun angeblich alte Hardware oder die Startzeit versus quicklaunch, welches Mozilla natürlich nicht schneller, aber instabiler werden lässt.
