<input type="file" style="..."> für Moz und Op?

Hallo,

weiß jemand, ob, wenn ja, wie man input felder vom type="file" per CSS ansprechen kann?
<input type="file" name="file" style="border : 1px solid silver; background-color : #fff;">
tut's nämlich nur im IE, Moz und Op7 weigern sich.
Ich möchte sowohl das Eingabefeld, als auch den Button formatieren.
