if (empty ($Eintraege_in_Datei [$i]))
Probier hier mal empty(trim($Eintraege_in_Datei [$i])), trim filtert dann vorher nicht sichtbare Zeichen (Leerzeichen, Zeilenumbrüche etc.) raus.
