Apache Config ist mir so fremd

Guten Abend,

nun habe ich gedacht, den Apachen einridhten, dass mach ich doch mal ganz flott, aber nun kenn ich mich gar nicht mehr aus:

v039:/etc/apache2# vi httpd.conf

This is here for backwards compatability reasons and to support

#  installing 3rd party modules directly via apxs2, rather than
#  through the /etc/apache2/mods-{available,enabled} mechanism.

#LoadModule mod_placeholder /usr/lib/apache2/modules/mod_placeholder.so

Was bedeutet das denn jezt für die Konfiguration?
Wo steht die denn wirklich und warum?
Muss ich da ein Tool benutzen oder geht das auch ohne, also so richtig zu Fuß wie früher?
