width:100% wird den Browsern ganz unterschiedlich ausgelegt und bezieht sich normalerweise auf die Gesamthöhe des Bildschirms.
also wenn sich _width_ auf die _höhe_ bezieht, dann ist dein browser fürchterlich kaputt.
