Versuch doch einfach mal, falls Dir das möglich ist, ein DOS zu intalieren und dort mit fdisk nachzusehen ob die Bootpartition auch auf aktiv steht. Ich vermute mal das dort das Problem liegt.

Im Prinzip habe ich das gleiche mit Knoppix gemacht.
