Problem mit "float:left;" ; float:right"

wahrscheinlich befindet sich ein Fehler in deinem Code. Ohne Link oder Beispielquelltext kann man das aber schwer beurteilen.

So wie er jetzt dasteht (und eben durch das margin funktioniert):
