Dann ist aber auch Schuers Tipp mit Truecrypt nicht praktikabel, denn sobald ich ein bestimmtes Programm brauche, bin ich auch auf ein bestimmtes OS angewiesen (wenn wir mal von Emulationen absehen).
Nicht unbedingt. Gpg zum Beispiel gibt es für viele Plattformen.
