Was bitte ist die "HAL-Ebene"? Kenne nur HAL-9000. ;-)
HAL ist die Hardware-Abstraction-Layer, also eine Grenze im System, wo das Betriebssystem dafür sorgt, das höhere Programme sich nicht direkt um die Hardware kümmern müssen bzw. sogar dürfen. Man erreicht dadurch eine Art 2,5-Klassen-Gesellschaft oder ein Schichtenmodell, indem man leichter arbeiten und entwickeln kann, solange man sich an die fixen Schnittstellen hält.
Bedeutet es vielleicht, dass dem Laufwerk eine DVD mit dem "richtigen" RC-Code vorgegaukelt wird und somit keine Manipulation am Laufwerk selbst notwendig ist? Würde dem Thema natürlich ne leichte Wendung geben.
Im Endeffekt ja.
