Ich hab's nicht probiert, aber wie sieht's im Opera aus, wenn innerhalb der eingebundenen Seite die möglichen Browser-Defaults mit transparent überschrieben werden?
Dann sieht es in der Tat genau so aus wie im Firefox: Beispiel.
Der Iframe übernimmt im Opera die Hintergrundfarbe des einbindenden Dokumentes, der Effekt eines transparenten Iframes ist somit auch im Opera möglich.
