Statt GZip und Bzip2 meinst du wohl eher tar oder ar, schließlich können GZip und Bzip2 nur eine Datei komprimieren, während tar oder ar mehrere Dateien in einer archivieren.
Ja, vollkommen richtig. Da wollte ich offenbar implizit den Denkfehler, dass tar ein komprimiertes Archiv ist korrigieren, was aber hier gar nicht sonderlich relevant ist.
