Hat nicht Microsoft das ico-Format für favicons festgelegt? Mit welchen Problemen hast du zu kämpfen?

So, you guys are going to all this trouble to create these little beauties, but whenever I add a website to my Favorites (IE 6.0), they disappear after a couple of days to be replaced by the Internet Explorer ‘e’ icon. Is there something I can do to make them stick?

Nope that’s a bug with internet explorer.

Und ich habe ähnliche Probleme. Unter anderem zeigt der IE schonmal ganz gerne ein komplett schwarzes *.ico-File an, statt es wie der FF richtig anzuzeigen. Muss ich etwa noch irgendwelche Servereinstellungen beachten?
