Im Selfhtml steht, dass die Datei (Html), die SSI-Code enthält, z. B. auf .shtm enden soll.
Das ist _eine_ Möglichkeit. BTW, ich bevorzuge '.shtml'.

Komischerweise zeigt mir die beta-Version den Quelltext der Seite direkt an, anstatt ihn auszuführen.
Kann ich nichts Komisches dran finden, wenn die Ressource mit 'Content-Type: text/plain' ausgeliefert wird. _Das_ allerdings ist komisch; warum tust du das?
Kann es sein dass die "einzufügende" Datei die Endung .shtm haben muss.
Nur, wenn diese auch wiederum SSI enthält. Und wenn überhaupt anhand der Dateiendung nach SSI geparst wird (s.o.).
Wer hat schon mal SSi probiert?
