ping: unknown host

Hallo,

ich habe ein sonderbares Problem. An meinem Opensuse 11.1 Server läuft routing und ein DNS. Alle Computer die daran hängen können völlig normal in's Internet und ein ping www.google.de funktioniert völlig normal.

Am betreffenden Server jedoch funktioniert der Ping nicht:

ping www.google.com

ping: unknown host www.google.com

Host funktioniert jedoch:

host www.google.de

www.google.de is an alias for www.google.com.
www.google.com is an alias for www.l.google.com.
www.l.google.com has address 74.125.77.104
www.l.google.com has address 74.125.77.147
www.l.google.com has address 74.125.77.99
www.l.google.com has address 74.125.77.103

Und der Ping der IP auch:

ping 74.125.77.104

PING 74.125.77.104 (74.125.77.104) 56(84) bytes of data.
64 bytes from 74.125.77.104: icmp_seq=1 ttl=245 time=50.0 ms

Ich habe keine Ahnung woran das liegen könnte. Ich werde dann noch ein paar Systemdateien posten, die damit zu tun haben. Ich habe schon versucht über Yast IPV6 auszuschalten, das hat aber nichts gebracht. Es gibt doch auch einen Befehl, der mir zeigt welchen Weg genau mein Ping Befehl geht, oder? Dann könnte man vielleicht sein, wo der Haken liegt.
