Ich habe daher Sachen versucht wie:
-document.DIV-name.Testform.Auswahl.options[i].selected
-DIV-name.Testform.Auswahl.options[i].selected
-document.DIV-id.Testform.Auswahl.options[i].selected
-DIV-id.Testform.Auswahl.options[i].selected

ist dein menü denn überhaupt innerhalb eines formulars? gib dem <select> doch am besten eine id
