Hintergrundbild wird blau umrahmt

Hallo!

Ich habe ein Problem mit der Auflösung einiger Seiten meiner Homepage.

Ich habe hinter eine Tabelle als Hintergrundbild ohne Wiederholung ein *.png - Bild gestellt. Dieser Bereich wird nun über den Internet Explorer (beim Netscape ist es normal) blau hinterlegt.

Frage: Ist da vielleicht das *.png - Format schuld?
Hätte jemand einen Tipp was hier falsch ist?

Nur mal so nebenbei, ist es Absicht, dass jemand ohne Flash die Seite nicht benutzen darf?
