Zwischenstand:

Ich konnte auf eine Konsole umschalten. Das ging vorher nicht, wenn die Grafikkarte abgeschaltet hat. Dann war es überall duster.
-
ich konnte den sshd neu installieren und mich nun per Normaluser remote anmelden, anschließend per su->passwort als root arbeiten.
-
ich habe den X-Server ganz brutal mit killall gdm3 abwürgen
-
jetzt war auch ein Xorg-configure möglich, was mir folgenden Vorschlag erzeugt hat:

Da muss ich mich jetzt erst einmal durchkämpfen und eine xorg.conf erzeugen, die dann hoffentlich auch berücksichtigt wird, wenn ich sie unter /etc/X11/xorg.conf ablege.
Kann ein wenig dauern, bis ich wieder Land unter den Füßen habe :-O
