Fehler in index.var

wenn ich meine Seite mit einem Web-Sniffer teste kommt die Fehlermeldung
An appropriate representation of the requested resource /index.var could not be found on this server.
Da die Datei ist vorhanden, muss der Fehler an die "appropriate representation" liegen. Wer könnte mir erklären, wo dieses falsch ist?
