Bing Search API Preisexplosion - Ende von DuckDuckGo, Ecosia, Gexsi u.ä.?

Ich frage mich, wie jene (Meta-)Suchmaschinen welche primär auf die Suchergebnisse von Bing über Microsofts Search API zurückgreifen so eine massive Preiserhöhung bis zu 1000% wie kürzlich angekündigt stemmen können werden. Die Preiserhöhung tritt per 1. Mai 2023 in Kraft.

Vermutlich wird es demnächst wiedermal etwas monotoner in diesem Bereich, andererseits fand ich jene "Suchmaschinen" aufgrund der Herkunft deren Suchergebnisse ohnehin nie besonders spannend, wobei Aufbereitung und Privatsphäre-Aspekt auch noch einzurechnen wären.

Womöglich haben die mit Kontext zu Umwelt und Sozialem (wie z.B. ecosia oder gexsi) aber eigene Verträge. Trotzdem staunt man über diese ziemlich drastische "Anpassung der Preise".

  @NayamAmarshe: Seems like it. I don't see how the price increase could be sustainable for anyone. It's almost as if Microsoft is deliberately trying to sabotage them...

Bin mal gespannt, wie sich das entwickelt. Ab Mai wird man mehr wissen. Ich gehe mal davon aus, dass DuckDuckGo, Qwant und oben genannte über keinen ernst zu nehmenden eigenen Bot und Index für die Websuche verfügen, sonst würde/sollte man diese in den Serverlogs wahrnehmen.
