Das Problem ist, dieser Code erzeugt einen Zeilenvorschub, sodass das Wurzelzeichen tiefer angezeigt wird.

Du mischst p und MathMl - ich würde pro Formel/Zeile nur MathML verwenden:

Um das p ist auch kein pre erlaubt. Du kannst die Formel mit CSS formatieren:

}
